New Life Events Volunteering
Safer Communities Ministry sponsors New Life Events annually where the opportunities to get involved are plentiful. From our Prayer Warriors, to those who set up and break down these events, to those who preach, sing, or give a testimony – every one matters to this audience. Each volunteer must be trained and certified by Chaplains of institutions being visited. The certification received is good for three years.
New Life events include:
- Training Conferences for Life Coaches in our jails and/or prisons;
- Training Conferences for New Life Evangelistic Services;
- New Life Evangelistic Services held in 11 prisons in Columbia, SC.

New Life Evangelistic Events Format
Ministry staff and volunteers structure these presentations with the following elements:
- Preacher
- MC (Master of Ceremonies)
- Testimonies
- Group Music
- Special Music (soloist)
- Skit or Drama (especially in Youth facilities)
