New Life Events
Safer Communities Ministry sponsors New Life Events annually in its mission to involve the public/business sectors as we positively impact the prison community.
New Life events include:
- Training Conferences for Mentors in our jails and/or prisons;
- Training Conferences for New Life Evangelistic Services;
- New Life Evangelistic Services held in 11 prisons in Columbia, SC.

New Life Evangelistic Events Format
Ministry staff and volunteers structure these presentations with the following elements:
- Preacher
- MC (Master of Ceremonies)
- Testimonies
- Group Music
- Special Music (soloist)
- Skit or Drama (especially in Youth facilities)
Volunteer Opportunities
New Life Events are tremendous opportunities to impact lives – and whole communities. Between 60 and 80 volunteers are needed for each presentation team.
