Use of Donations and Resources by SCM

 

SCM has consistently applied a very percentage of collected revenue directly to program expenses.  In fact, a June 30, 2008 audit report by Tom R. Blacka, CPA of Blacka, Jessup, and Henderson, LLP shows SCM has applied 87% of all revenue toward program expenses for the last 7 1/2 years.  Only 7% was applied to management and 6% was dedicated to fund raising.  It is SCM's objective to apply as much of collected revenue as possible directly to its programs in the past and will continue to do so in the future.  You can be assured that any donations you make will be spent in this manner.

 

Ways to Give

 

Thank you for your interest in and support of Safer Communities Ministry and it's "it takes a community to make a community safer" approach to administering to the incarcerated, ex-offenders and their families.  We want to invite organizations, businesses and individuals to support the cause of safer communities by giving. 

There are several ways that you can make your gift to Safer Communities Ministry:

View and print our donation form and mail it with enclosed check or credit card information to Safer Communities Ministry, P.O. Box 556, Monroe, NC 28111.  If you desire, please select a designated giving area to direct your gift to a particular area of our ministry.

 

Make a Recurring Gift

 

Set up weekly, monthly, or quarterly gifts through bank draft or by credit card.
